Chez Sidney Seafood Bandits Softball, St. Martinville.

Our first inductee into the Hall of Honor, Chez Sidney Seafood Bandits Softball Club, was given life in 1986 by 2000 Louisiana USSSA Hall of Fame inductee Murphy A. Tauzin (deceased), for boys 18 and under. This most unbelievable youth venture has captured numerous State and National Championships in multiple age groups throughout it’s long and storied history. Chez Sidney has now branched into baseball claiming a number of championships there as well including a World Championship in 12 and Under in 2003. The shear dominance of this organization has truly been breathtaking. Here is a list of World Championships and the age groups:

1986…Boys Senior….1987…Boys Senior…1989…Boys Senior….1999…10 and Under and 12 and Under….2000…10 and Under, 12 and Under and 14 and Under….2001…10 and Under and 14 and Under….2002…10 and Under, 12 and Under, 14 and Under….2003…10 and Under, 12 and Under, 14 and Under, and 16 and Under….2004…10 and Under, 12 and Under, 14 and Under, and 16 and Under.

That is 22 World Championships to go along with the 75 plus State Championships in 20 years of existence and participation in Louisiana USSSA.
